Operates spray equipment to apply gel coat and/or flake to boat molds as per order specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Read work orders to check for color to be applied in which area
- Assure proper taping has been performed
- Use of air and airless bulk spray guns and hand pot spray gun to apply gel coat and/or flake to molds in required thickness
- Move boat molds and/or small parts in and out of gel coat booth
- Clean and maintain spray equipment and keep in proper working order
- Clean and maintain spray booth
- Any other duties assigned
Minimum Educational and Work Qualifications
- Ability to work early morning hours (5:00 a.m.) and flexible hours
- Wear respirator for 8+ hours a day
- Understand the purpose of and how to use a mil-gauge
- Be able to read and write English and be able to paint any color on decks or hulls
- Color sensitivity
- Ability to perform walking, standing, bending, pushing/pulling for 8+ hours a day
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Ability to work in the heat
- Ability tot work in an environment with chemical fumes, noise
- Manual dexterity
- Detail orientated
- Have good quality habits
- Have good attendance habits
- Ability to follow instructions accurately
