Prepare boat for production by performing all hand lay-up/roll out process of fiberglass lamination in or on decks, hulls, or small parts.
Performs any combination of various tasks such as cutting carpet, installing livewells, tanks, wiring and wiring systems, electrical panels, and more to insure proper assembly of the finished product is correct and is working properly.
Prepare the boats for assembly by trimming, grinding and smoothing rough edges and rough surfaces of the boat sections and/or parts. Drill all holes and cut the panel and deck openings per each order or model requirements and measurements.
Conceptualizes and defines all aspects of form, function, aesthetics, and end user interface, while meeting defined criteria for product features, cost, manufacturability, and project schedules. Creates and maintains engineering and assembly drawings.
Will support the Great Lakes sales territory including Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, and western Tennessee. This position will be accountable for the overall business direction and development of the assigned territory.
Will purchase goods and services for the company in an efficient, economical manner and in keeping with the Green Procurement Initiative.
Perform general maintenance of equipment throughout the plant that may involve the performance of various trades functions including electrical, metal, mold bracing, plumbing, and welding. In addition, this position will include some general repair work on buildings and physical structures.
