BOM-Product Documentation Manager

Manager/Supervisor: Director of Procurement

Coordinate between Engineering/Sales Department to create and maintain accurate BOM’s and QAD information related to relieving of inventory and order entry

Job Description


  • Transfer information from Engineering/Sales to maintain accuracy of BOM’s for boats and trailer
  • Collect/compare data as required by Engineering to maintain BOM’s
  • Generate draft cost assumptions used to analyze model to model costing
  • Attend Engineering meetings as needed to keep documentation accurate
  • Present assumptions based on product scopes related to proposed changes to product
  • Become proficient in rules writing
  • Process yellows as needed to ensure accurate BOM and product as changes are made
  • Assist in preparing presentations
  • Maintain boat schedule for production as assigned by sales
  • Any other duties assigned 


  • Good understanding of boat/trailer production
  • Able to listen to understand in meeting and one on one between department
  • Willing to travel to company events as needs arise
  • Must be committed to abiding by all company policies
